10 days at the cabin recap-

8 kids, 2 moms for 5 days= crazy fun
Cooper swam across a big lake in freezing cold water to get 2 trash bags that flew across in the wind for a WHOPPING $10 bucks! (Note to self, don't ever think my boys won't do something crazy)
3 days of just me and my 4 boys. LOVED every second of it.

Mom,
This last year has been one of the hardest years for me and I hold on to the fact that I have you to help me through it. You are the Mom of my dreams. You teach me so many things everyday. I truly hope with my whole heart that my boys will love me, trust me, and turn to me the way I turn to you. I am so lucky to have an example like you to guide me through this hard life. I listen in Church about how your kids should know your testimony. I look back and can honestly say that I knew of yours and Dad's testimonies. You showed me by example. I may be your hardest child, but I love you so much. I think I have more of Dad in me (haha) but I think my heart loves like yours does. Thank you Mom for everything you do for me on a daily basis and for teaching me the gospel. Happy Mothers Day-

I peeked!!!

I was putting the boys stuff in their backpacks and stumbled across this Mothers Day card to me from Garrett. It made me laugh! I put it back and will act surprised!! He thinks he's buttering me up to get a new pair of DC shoes!!!

The New Look!!!!!

Ok so I am really dumb and didn't take any before pictures. If you know me well though you have probably been in my house and know what it looked like before. My cousin Maren was my inspiration. Her house is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I called her and begged her to help me do a little at a time.
THEN..... I started and haven't ever stopped. The funnest part of it is knowing that I made money off of it. Thank you craigslist for having people buy all my old stuff. And THANK YOU GOODWILL, GARAGE SALES, and MERCHANT SQUARE for having such good deals for me.
I'm not all the way done but I wanted to post the proof that I have accomplished something!!
Thank you Maren for all your help, I really love hanging out with you. You are such a beautiful talented person. It has been so fun calling you when I am jumping up and down when I find a new treasure at the million good wills we go to. I really want you to know how grateful I am that you are my cousin, but also that you have been such a good friend. Love you-

Pinewood Derby!!!

Garrett got to the final race and took 4th place out of 30 cars. He was sad he didn't win, but then found out he won 1st place in his wolf pack!
Thanks to his Dad and his Papa for helping him with the car. It was AWESOME!!!!
P.S. This was our first pinewood derby race. I had no idea it was so competitive and serious. Scary!!
Way to go G-Man, we love you!!

Rain, Rain go away
Come again another day!
I love the smell of rain but don't like grocery shopping in it. Or hearing my kids cry because they think the LOUD wind is going to eat them alive. We had to talk about tornado's, earthquakes, monsters, all kinds of scary things tonight.
