Family Home Evening

We started out by feeding the missionaries and our good friends from our ward the Dixons. It went great. I made enchiladas, Nelson style. Then a warm chocolate cake. After we were done cleaning up we decided to go for a walk. I thought it would be fun to take the Bishop and his wife a piece of cake. So we did that and had a good time.
We have lived in our house for 6 years now and occasionally we have a huge toad on our front door step. I think he lives in our lantanas. He scares the crap out of me when I get out of the car to walk to the front door and there he is right on the sidewalk or right in front of the door. We have named him Hopper. He welcomed us home from our walk last night so I took his picture to show all of you.

Congratulations Josh and Allie.

Josh and Allie had their baby July 25th. It was a little hectic that day. She had a stress test because she was measuring small. Well my mom and dad went up to the cabin the day before so I wanted to make sure everything was going ok. I sent Josh a text and he said she was doing good. Not even 5 minutes later he called and said she was going to have the baby. They were starting to induce her. He called my mom but couldn't get a hold of her. So I rushed down there and stayed with them while the Doctor started her petocin. She went pretty fast. Ryker Scott Bradshaw was born around 8pm. He weighed 5lbs 9oz, 19 1/2 inches long. They wouldn't tell us the name until he was born so we had already nicknamed him Frank. Welcome Ryker, you have a lot of boy cousins who are dying to play with you.

More pictures from Big Lake

When I woke up I saw Warner sleeping like this. His head was at the bottom of the sleeping bag. I guess he got cold.

This is Nick's cousin Julie. She is so fun and sweet. We just love her to death. She had some awesome boots she wore everyday. I wish I took a picture of them. Sorry.
This is Nick's dad Craig and his Aunt Sue. We just hung out in the forest all weekend. It was cold enough for a jacket but the sunshine was out all day too. What more could I ask for??? Relaxing with good company and mouth watering meals.
Cooper and Garrett were in their pajamas most of the time. As soon as they would wake up they were out the door and I saw them when it was time for bed again.
Warner is a little OCD about his clothes getting wet, or getting food on them or..... So his Nannny bought him a rain jacket so he wouldn't have to change 15 times a day. But it didn't help, so at this point I was running out of clothes . I told him he would have no shirt if he didn't want to wear the one that had rain on it. He decided to be shirtless even though it was freezing outside. But he is so cute anyways right?? His Uncle Jason teased him about his crocks calling them girl shoes all weekend. Finally Warner told him to "Stop Uncle Jason there not girl shoes!"

Big Lake

It is a tradition in Nick's family to go to Big Lake every year. We have missed the past few due to babies being born or other reasons I can't think of right now. This year we got to go and lucky for us we got to borrow Liz and Ron's 37 foot Jay Feather trailer. It made the trip so much better because it rains every day and I was so worried Noah would freeze to death if we were in a tent. Not to mention having a bathroom you didn't have to walk to in the middle of the night. The boys had so much fun. Every night they about passed out from pure exhaustion. Here are some pictures of our fun trip. If you would like to see some of the delicious food we ate go to Kelly and Jason's blog. You will get a laugh out of her photography of every meal. Nick's family has some serious cooks in it. The food is absolutely delicious. They don't mess around.

Warner, Noah and I drove with Nanny and Warner was a good big brother and fed Noah for me.
What a beautiful picture of Big Lake. We also saw a bunch of deer going up the mountain.
Garrett and Zane sitting down for breakfast. It was so cold in the mornings but my boys loved it.
This is Nick's cousin Kristen's daughter Alex. Cooper is such a sucker for girls. He never left her alone. She is so fun, she kept us all entertained at night doing a mean Molly Shannon skit from Saturday Night Live. Thanks for all the laughs Alex.
Warner was having so much fun showing off in front of everyone. He painted this little figure thing but ended up getting it mostly on himself.

Look at those baby blues

Look at those beautiful eyes....
Warner flexing his muscles.
Hiding at the doctor's office before getting shots. His Nanny gave him those boots for our trip to Big Lake.
This is a picture of Hunter, Cooper, Buggy and Garrett all playing the wii. Can you tell Hunter and Buggy have a pool and we don't? They are so tan compared to Garrett and Cooper.
Auntie Liz holding Noah. She is expecting a baby boy in a month. I'm giving her some practice. I asked Buggy if he was excited to have a baby brother and he said..... NO.

Fourth Of July Party

We spent the 4th of July at Grandma and Grandpa Medley's. We couldn't ask for better neighbors. They are our 3rd set of Grandma and Grandpa's. We had Kelly with little man Tucker, Hannah and Stephanie, Jason and Becky, and our best friend Justin. The kids had so much fun. After a delicious barbecue there were cupcakes. As you can see Tucker got it every where but in his mouth. He was laughing so hard as my boys called him "chocolate man". When I said smile for the picture my two looked right at me, or as the Medley's call it "took a Sears pose."

This little pool has seen it's last day. By the time the party was over it was full of cupcakes, grass, and mud.

Thanks to the host Karen Medley (Grandma), and Jerry (Grandpa) for all the mouthwatering food she made. Kelly and Karen with their Sears pose.
Justin helps us out so much when he comes over. He and Warner have a special bond. Warner makes him throw him up in the air over and over ( which isn't hard since he weighs a whole 25 pounds). We sure love you Justin.
Grandpa Medley is so much fun. He has this infectious smile and laugh. We played the name game I think 5 times. Garrett won the last game when we all forgot his name, Guy Moon. Some of the other names we came across were Jack Lemon, Shrek, Lulu, Harry Cleberman, and my favorite Ghostrider.

Thanks again Medley's for having us over for a FUN Fourth of July. We love you like parents.
