Andrew and Rose Puricelli came to visit

Andrew and Rose came to visit. They live in San Diego, Ca. and they have a baby girl named Gianna. She is very close in age to Noah. Nick and Andrew grew up together. They have been best friends for years. Garrett played the wii with Andrew and his dad. Of course Garrett beat both Andrew and Denny. He thought he was sooo cool. It was so fun to see them. We love you guys.
Warner loves to have his picture taken. He put on this beenie the other day and kept saying, take my picture mom. He wore it the whole day. He looked so cute. To bad it is never cold enough in this state to need a beenie.
Noah was in the funniest position on the couch. He had his butt way up in the air. It was so funny. The boys kept pointing and laughing. He is the best baby. Easy, easy, easy.
Another funny position. Some of you don't know this but as of last Wednesday I had to stop nursing Noah. My thyroid was out of control the whole time I was pregnant, so when I had him they lowered my medication so Noak wouldn't get it through the breastmilk. Well I went and got my blood drawn and my doctor said my level was so high that I had to take way more medication and not only that, they are going to give me radio active iodone. Apparently that kills the thyroid. I won't be able to have any human contact for 6 days. It should be happening next week. My mom will take the older boys and I will leave the baby with Nicks mom. Noah has done really good with the bottle. I cried for a little bit but I am okay with it now. I was just sad because he is my last baby and the only one I haven't nursed. Nick tells me to look on the bright side. We will be able to leave him to go on dates now.
Garrett ripped a box of fruit snacks and put it on his head so they could play bad guys. Cooper's in the back assuming the position.

Warner and Garrett

Warner was in trouble so when he was sent to his room he sat in the doorway with the one and only blankee he goes everywhere with over his head. After watching him for a few minutes I realized he was asleep under there so I snapped a picture of him starting to fall over.
After awhile he made it to the ground, where he slept for over an hour.
He loves kissing "Baby Noah" but still to this day doesn't want to hold him.
My big boy Garrett has an obsession with pajamas. Probably from his mom. They have soooo many pj's. Everyday when he gets home from school at 3:30 in the afternoon he drops his backpack and goes right to his room to put them on, then outside to ride his bike.
For Easter this year we went to St. George, Utah to see Nick's grandpa. We had our Easter egg hunt at the St. George Temple. It was beautiful and the kids had so much fun.

Cooper's tooth problem

Cooper told us he had a toothache on a Friday so I took him to the dentist. They took x-rays and told us he had an abscess. They gave us a prescription and told me to bring him back the next Monday. Well Saturday morning he came into our room at 3:30 a.m. and said his eye hurt. We turned on the light and saw this.
We called a dentist in our ward who met us on a Saturday at his office. He was planning on pulling the tooth because it was a baby tooth. So Nick and I went and tried to get Cooper to sit in the chair. He went absolutely crazy. He was screaming loud enough to shake the pictures on the wall. He was so tense we couldn't even make him breathe the gas. After 20 minutes of pure screaming the dentist said he thought it would be better to take him to an ER for IV antibiotics. He said it is probably better he doesn't take it out until some of the swelling had gone down. So off to the ER we went. He got the antibiotics and we were out of there pretty quick.

Monday comes along, which I forgot to mention we were supposed to bless Noah that Sunday but with Cooper still looking like the elephant man as Nick called him we put it off until next fast Sunday. So as I was saying that Monday Nick took him to a Pediatric Dentist who gave Cooper a cup of "juice" to drink (Liquid demerol and apple juice.) Well he fell asleep within 15 minutes and they pulled the big tooth. Drama, Drama....

Aren't we so glad we are going to have a dentist in the family. Uncle Jordon is going to regret he ever went to dental school when he sees what the Bradshaw's have for him to fix. We love you Uncle Jordon!

The last three months at the Nelsons included:

Noah Drake Nelson was born on February 7th, 2008. He weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces, 19 inches long. He was a preemie, born at 34 weeks.

Noah loves to sleep in our bed. Nick just loves that.

It's funny where they put there hands.

He only has few outfits that fit him and this is one of them. Sooo cute.
